Don’t Leave Them Behind is delighted to introduce a new employment initiative with MyJobs, focused on creating real, sustainable career opportunities for people with disabilities (PWD).
For too many people with disabilities, securing meaningful employment remains unnecessarily difficult. Talent, qualifications, experience and ambition are there, but opportunities are not always equally accessible.
We want to help change that.

Through MyJobs, we intend to work with employers to identify suitable vacancies, promote inclusive recruitment and connect talented people with disabilities with organisations that recognise the value of a diverse workforce.
A Company-Wide PWD Employment Commitment
We are also encouraging employers to go further by considering a company-wide employment target or quota for people with disabilities.
Rather than treating disability employment as an occasional recruitment initiative, organisations could establish a measurable commitment across their workforce. Each employer can determine an appropriate target based on its size, roles and circumstances, while ensuring recruitment remains based on skills, suitability and fair employment practices.
This is about opening doors, removing unnecessary barriers and ensuring talented candidates are given a genuine opportunity to compete.
Employers should also examine accessibility throughout the recruitment process — from job descriptions and applications to interviews, workplace design, technology, flexible working and reasonable accommodations.
